… is the first complete review and shows 347 works of the swiss mastermind who died at the early age of 50 in the year 2008. The catalogue comes along with the related exhibition, which went on show at ETH Zurich recently.
We can consider ourselves more than pround to have worked on two projects with Hannes. The cooperation was characerised by a very high level of trust, mutual understanding and personal openness.
Our first common series is called ‘Frame’ (still in production) and was launched in Cologne early 2003 along with the whole Bodysign Collection. In 2007 we launched the further development ‘Passepartout’, a jewellery series that includes colored gem stones.
His work and his studio, now called ‘studio hannes wettstein’, live on through the direction of designer Simon Husslein and architects Britta Herold and Stephan Hürlemann.
